Gearing up for the Nevermind 30th Anniversary release coming out on November 12th and went back and watched the “When Nirvana Came to Britain” documentary again. The documentary aired on BBC back in Sept 2021 and was produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Nevermind.

The footage and commentary in When Nirvana Came to Britain covers the band from their first tour and goes all the way through the Reading Festival in 1992. They interviewed a variety of people including owners of the venues, hotel workers of the places the band stayed and van drivers from the tour bus. The piece offers a great look back at the band during the Nevermind era.

Wanted share in case you missed it and are excited about the upcoming anniversary album remaster later this month or just love the British accents like I do. If you have not ordered the new release you can still pick up the regular vinyl with bonus 7″ or the deluxe set.
