This spring, Tori Amos will begin her North American Ocean To Ocean Tour 2022 in Texas. In addition, we received some new live Tori as NPR recently hosted a Tiny Desk (Home) Concert by the singer-songwriter. Tori Amos 2022 Tour Dates and Tickets
On April 27th, Amos kicks off her Ocean To Ocean Tour, which is named after her upcoming 2021 album, with stops in Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, and Austin, Texas. From Atlanta, she’ll make her way across the Carolinas, stopping in Greenville, SC, and Raleigh, NC along the way. She’ll return on May 4. Prior to a series of performances in Philadelphia, New York City and Boston, Amos heads to Maryland’s Oxon Hill.
Friday, February 4 at 10 a.m. local time, tickets for the Ocean to Ocean Tour will be available. We also expect several songs from Little Earthquakes to be featured in the set since it celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Tickets can be found here.
Ocean to Ocean Album
For Amos, the natural landscapes and rich mythology of Cornwall—the peninsular English county where she has lived since 1999—as well as her mother’s passing, observing her late-twenties niece, and the lockdowns and chaos that have loomed large over the past two years were all sources of inspiration for Ocean to Ocean, she has said in interviews. Grief and the harshness of the world, experienced on both a cosmic and a personal level, permeate this album, which she began writing when England went into its third national lockdown earlier this year.

Tori Amos Tiny Desk Concert
To begin, Amos plays “Baker Baker,” from her 1994 album Under The Pink, on her Bosendorfer piano as the first track on her Tiny Desk. “Baker Baker” served as a quick reminder of the haunting and emotionally vulnerable voice has during her live performances. To wrap up the session, Tori performs two songs from the new album. “29 Years” on the Wurlitzer electric piano before concluding the Tiny Desk Sessions with “Ocean To Ocean.”
On October 29, 2021, Tori Amos released Ocean To Ocean and performed songs from the new album at NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert from her home in Cornwall, UK, where she also produced the album and drew inspiration from the region’s renowned landscapes and fabled past.
